| In the immortal words of the Firebat: "I'm gone."

>_< | | |
| I know no one knows specifically what i'm talking about but it never ceases to amaze me how no matter whats going on in my life or how i'm feeling, theres always a new rock song that comes out that relates to it that makes me feel better >_<

| Oddly enough this is an anniversary for me too... but it's not the day the angel was discovered... it's the day the angel fell and the darkness rose...
i will be refraining from almost all contact today... its my choice... deal with it as u please... i don't care what you think... no one deserves this more in my eyes...
I stand disheveled, clothed as the night; Surrounded, yet completely alone. I stand, silent, like those who trudge before me, And those who lurk behind. Yet, look! I bear no manacles, no chains. This prison was my own chosen destination, And I shall bear its tortures at my own expense. The organ moans its melancholy melodies; Yet I am deaf to others’ agony. The dirges and the cries of mourning Are suppressed beneath the thumping, Thumping of my heart inside my tortured skull: A pounding war drum, sending forth My army of emotion toward a battle Too soon lost. I move on, each step hindered as I meander Through this sea of despair. I approach this wooden crate, A chest, in which I knew was laid A treasure of innumerable value: Hair of silk, golden skin, Ruby lips, and amber eyes. I arrive, but not prepared. For lo! The silk is but rough, The rubies stolen; the gold hath lost its luster. I blink away the blurriness. I lean down, taking your hand in mine, And in that brief moment, Among the clouds of pain and sadness, A light shines through.
sorry bout the poetry phil... felt necessary...
River: Storm's getting worse... Mal: We'll pass through it soon enough.

| Kurt and i love this song... maybe for different reasons but it bears listening...
I've heard there was A secret chord That David played, and It pleased the Lord But you don't really care For music, do you? It goes like this: The fourth, the fifth The minor fall, the major lift The baffled king Composing Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Your faith was strong But you needed proof You saw her bathing On the roof Her beauty and the Moonlight overthrew you She tied you to a kitchen chair She broke your throne And she cut your hair And from your lips She drew the Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Maybe I've been here before I know this room I've walked this floor I used to live alone Before I knew you I've seen your flag On the marble arch Love is not a victory march It's a cold and It's a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah
There was a time You let me know What's really going on below But now you never show It to me, do you? I remember when I moved in you Your holy dark Was moving too And every breath we drew Was Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Maybe there's a God above And all I ever Learned from love Was how to shoot At someone Who outdrew you It's not a cry You can hear at night It's not somebody Who's seen the light It's a cold and It's a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah
man thats good.... -_-
